Rules

Sunopoly, the Dream.

This dream has been created for the Festival of the Sun, 2008.

It is still playable for anyone who finds it uploaded, so please enjoy.

Anyone is welcome to play so please mind the language and keep behavior to a less than FurN level.

If you find a glitch, or a way to cheat the game, please tell one of the creators, do NOT spam it. This kind of thing along with over use of CAPS will not be tolerated and you will be banned from the game.

We understand that the game board covers a largish area, so shouting is allowed within the dream, just please keep it relative, if you want to conduct a conversation, mid game please move to the other furre, or use whispers. If you just want to enjoy some Tic Tac Toe, or just hang out feel free to stay on the islands and do so.

Mostly for this game please be HONEST. It is very easy to cheat and win that way, but we know the ways you can use, and those spoiling the games for others will be banished. Its not fun and its not clever.

Sunopoly, the Game.

Monopoly as you know it? Thats not what this is. Due to certain restrictions (dragonspeak mostly) we have made changes. These will be listed here, along with any directions for play and rules changes or additions.

The play board has been changed, there are now 2 properties for each color, the names have been changed for summer themed locations, and there are now only 2 railroads. Most game functions will be run off dragonspeak buttons, this includes buying and selling houses and properties.

  • To roll the dice, click the dice button on screen, this will automatically roll 2d6 and emit the result to all players. Then pick up your game piece, and move it to the appropriate space.
  • If you land on an unowned property, the Buy button will appear, allowing you to purchase the property, when you do so, a property details button will appear, this allows you to see, at anytime, what the rent is, how much a house costs, and how much a hotel costs.
  • If you wish to purchase a house for a property, you can, no longer do you need to own all properties in the colour bracket before building. You can place 2 houses on any property that you own, you must be on the property before you can build. Once you have 2 houses you may purchase a hotel.
  • You do not need to have landed your piece upon a property to conduct improvements, you are allowed to move around the board not on your turn and add houses and such to your properties. We would request that you keep it to 1 improvement per turn.
  • You cannot auction properties to other players, or mortgage them to the bank. If you need to sell a property you can sell it back to the bank for half of the original cost.
  • Jail, is no longer jail, but is now the First Aid Tent for those who did not wear their sunscreen when they went out property hunting. To get out of the First Aid Tent you need a Get Out Of Jail Free card, or you must wait 3 turns. It is not possible to buy a Card from another player, and rolling 3 doubles will not work. Whilst you are in Jail please continue to roll the dice on your turns. You may not collect rent, or make any changes to any of your properties whilst incarcerated.
  • Your game is over when your Dragonscales balance reaches 0. You will get a warning when it hits 10, I would suggest you start selling properties off at this point. If you become bankrupt your game will be over and you will be warped to the starting island. It is possible to give loans, but this is not supported by the game DS, and if you get burned its your own fault.
  • To pay rent to fures say *Pay # a money object will appear, the collecting furre needs to pickup and use the item to collect their money.
  • If you land on a taxation square, the Dragonscales will automatically be taken from your account and placed in a collection at the Free Parking space. Whoever lands on that space will collect the scales.
